NU Dean Welcome Videos
We’re caught somewhere in-between the pandemic and going “back to normal.” A really fun project that captures this moment in time for me is a series of Orientation Welcome videos commissioned by our friends in the Office of Student Orientation and Family Programs at Northeastern University. I can’t share the official materials with you, so I cut a video of my colleague Jenn to showcase the look we delivered for this series.
This was my first official video production for the University and it is now a service we are offering to our campus partners. While there are many amazing video teams on campus, the demand still outweighs the supply. We are continuing to apply the tools and technology we use everyday in events (lights, cameras, microphones etc.) to create “event-related content” (podcasts, photos and videos). This benefits our campus community while creating new work opportunities and experiences for our staff.
If you know me, you could probably guess this is an initiative that I’ve been leading and I owe a ton of thanks to my amazing bosses and teammates for their constant support. Live event production will always be our bread-and-butter, but this extending our creative services challenges me and fulfills my spirit.
